Clearing Up the 9/11 World Trade Center Conspiracy

I am sick and tired of all these conspiratorialists and supposed “experts.” This graphic, in light of some basic science, makes it abundantly clear they’re not experts at all. The hothead

conspiratorialists at “Architects and Engineers for 9/11” are just that: hotheads.  Lending credence to the 9/11 World Trade Center Conspiracy violates the professionalism of their trades and results in seriously and unnecessarily inflamed emotions.  Put simply, they’re simply adding fuel to an unnecessary fire.

Let’s hear what metallurgists and arson investigators have to say. Let’s examine the FACTS:

Furthermore, while most common house fires burn at between 1000 and 1400 deg F (probably the source of the FDNY’s errant information), that’s only if the fire is complete open to external airflow. Any pockets of debris which create both oven and chimney effects can easily cause temperatures to rocket well in excess of 2,000 deg F. Arson investigators commonly witness molten silver coin (1615 deg F), sterling silver silverware (1640), yellow brass (1710), gold (1945), copper (1983), ductile iron (2100), nickel (2647), carbon steel (2600-2800), and even wrought iron (2700-2900). In houses built with steel studs, they’ve observed some of those studs having melted into slag.

As for thermite, it’s simply a pyrotechnic composition of metal powder fuel and metal oxide. The aluminium reduces the oxide of another metal, most commonly iron oxide, because aluminium forms stronger bonds with oxygen than iron:

Fe2O3 + 2 Al –> 2 Fe + Al2O3

Similarly, copper thermite works via the following reaction:

3 CuO + 2 Al –> 3 Cu + Al2O3

Other thermite reactions include the use of silicon, commonly found in concrete.

The World Trade Center was composed of many elements, including iron (Fe), Aluminum (Al), Copper (Cu), and Silicon (Si).

The two aircraft which slammed into the World Trade Center were American Airlines Flight 11, a Boeing 767-223ER, and United Airlines Flight 175, a Boeing 767–222.

The empty weight of each 767 was between 176,650 and 181,610 lb. That’s 90 TONS of aluminum and steel, with a few tons of copper wiring running throughout.

So tell me: What happens when you shred 90 tons of ingredients commonly used in thermite, and ignite it using an equivalent amount of fuel?  What happens when the stove and chimney pockets are far larger, can burn for many more hours, with a great deal more fuel?

Do you think that just MIGHT create enough heat to melt steel?

Uh, DUH!  Hot enough to melt steel, copper, and even iron.

All without the slightest need for conspiracy.  Just two modern aircraft flown into modern high-rise office buildings.
